(A ship hit a rock on the coast of NSW and dispatched a rescue helicopter to search and rescue)
On Monday afternoon, at Caseys Beach in Batehaven, after receiving a report of a boat stranded, local surf lifeguards, NSW maritime search and rescue teams and rescue helicopters rushed to the scene.
It is reported that the ship ran aground and hit a rock. Fortunately, a baby and five adults in the ship were successfully rescued. Rescuers said no one was injured.
"Our search and rescue ship is still there. We have just transferred all the passengers and everyone is safe and sound." Search and rescue officer Peter O'Connor told ANZ.
