Sydney – A fire on January 1th, Australian Eastern Time destroyed three luxury yachts moored outside the Palazzo Versace hotel on the Gold Coast.

The fire ignited at about 2:30 in the morning, and three 40-foot-long luxury yachts were submerged in the flames on Main Beach.

The Department of Community Safety told ANZ that two yachts have sunk and the third one is also sinking.

Firefighters said that the fire is difficult to extinguish because it is difficult for them to get close to the fire and there is no limited water source.

The firefighters said they were very lucky to control the fire.

It took 6 groups of firefighters more than 3 hours to put out the fire.

The floating barrier has been thrown into the water to prevent the spilled fuel from spreading.
