Australian media headline: Mother sends her daughter's nude photos to dance teacher
A mother in Sydney is very anxious to make her two young daughters famous, so she sends her daughter's lewd nude photos to a famous dance teacher because she thinks it will be a step forward in her daughter's career-court proceedings.
The woman admitted in court on Monday that she had sent photos to the famous Sydney dance teacher Grant Davis for more than two years because she heard that those photos made him "excited and sexually thirsty."
"I know this is wrong, but I don't know how to stop." She said at the sentencing hearing of the Sydney Magistrates Court. "I'm ashamed and sorry."
The mother admitted to producing and disseminating child abuse materials in December last year. The case revealed that Mr. Davis, a well-known but no longer co-leader of RG Dance, requested photos through text messages and in person.
The woman, accompanied by her husband to the court, said that she could not refuse the dance teacher because she had completely "relied on" the dance studio because students in the dance studio often went to major productions and overseas performances.
She admitted that she stopped sending photos because Mr. Davis was arrested by the police in May 2013. The 5-year-old dance teacher appeared in Burwood Local Court on Monday to attend a hearing in which he was charged with 40 child sexual offences.
The hearing will continue next month.
