"Chinatown"-Official media of Chinese Australians

The daughter of the former Chinese Premier Li Peng, the former deputy general manager of CLP Group and the chairman of Hong Kong-listed CLP International, Li Xiaolin, who has just been transferred a few days ago, has been implemented border entry and exit control measures (commonly known as border control) by the Chinese authorities. Hong Kong attended the CLP International Conference and was stopped at Beijing Capital International Airport and was told by the staff that she could not leave the country for the time being, "received notification from her superiors." The source said that Wang Qishan, secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, personally ordered Li Xiaolin not to leave the country.

According to overseas media's two different sources of information from Beijing approaching Zhongnanhai, Li Xiaolin was told that she could not leave the country when she departed from Beijing Capital International Airport to Hong Kong on the 9th. At that time, she was preparing to go to Hong Kong to participate in the high-level meeting of CLP International scheduled to be held on the 10th. Although she was no longer the leader of the reorganized CLP Group from May 5, the status of CLP International's chairman was still there, and she served as Hong Kong For listed companies, if the position is to be exempted, certain procedures must be followed and an announcement must be made in advance.

An insider in Beijing revealed that Li Xiaolin was surprised that she had been charged by the frontier. She went crazy on the spot and wanted to call the Minister of Public Security Guo Shengkun. However, after being persuaded by the staff, she burst into tears at the border and returned with luck. Although the secretary who was with her was not controlled by the frontier, she did not board the plane and accompanied Li Xiaolin back to her home in Beijing. He immediately notified Hong Kong China Power International that "the chairman cannot attend tomorrow's meeting due to circumstances."

It is reported that the order for Li Xiaolin’s border control came from the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. In other words, the Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection Wang Qishan issued an investigation order against Li Xiaolin, which led to her being included in the border control list by the Border Defense Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security.
