At around 2:15 this afternoon, at the intersection of Toorak Rd and Punt Rd in Melbourne, a woman on a bicycle collided with a truck with a trailer and died on the spot.
The truck driver was not injured and stayed at the intersection to assist in the investigation.
The accident caused vehicles to diverted to St Kilda Road or Queens Road, 58 tram diverted to Malvern Rd, and stopped parking between station 119 and Toorak, which had a great impact on today's rush hour traffic.
