"Before the end of the emergency period, the preconditions for the extension of the emergency period are actually set. Therefore, whenever we think we need to change the settings, they will be revoked or changed."

Victorian ministers warned on Friday night that Monday would be a "critical moment" and any mysterious case would mean that large-scale restrictions may have to be extended. 

"The goal is five days. We will know on Monday if there are cases beyond the known or expected... You can expect it, but if the infection continues to expand, you will have to re-examine things."

Even after the five-day lockdown period is over, party restrictions and working from home will still be maintained to reduce the risk of a third epidemic.

At present, all international flights to Melbourne have been suspended, and Victorian Governor Andrews threatened to significantly reduce the number of overseas passengers.The Victorian quarantine project resulted in a second wave of epidemics last year, and apparently the problem has not been fundamentally resolved.
