Australia is the most successful multicultural country in the world.We celebrate the Chinese New Year, which reflects that we have become a free, open and tolerant nation.As we sing in our national anthem, "We are united and free."
2020 will be a difficult year for all of us.Saying goodbye to 2020, we must look forward to a better year.
In the Year of the Ox, we have to promote the strength and courage to help us through 2020.
Niu is a member of teamwork.It is calm, serious, and diligent.This is a quality required in any period, especially in the period we are in.These qualities will be the backbone of our resilience through 2021.

I understand that for many people, this year's Lunar New Year celebrations will be different.The cherished family reunion, dragon dance and lantern appreciation festival will not be the same as in previous years.
Although our traditions and celebrations will be different this year, everyone is optimistic and hopes for a better year.
With the coming of a safe and effective vaccine, I believe that after overcoming this huge challenge, we will be able to celebrate with joy again. 
I hereby send warm greetings and blessings, and I hope 2021 will be better.Happy Chinese New Year.
