▲苏伊士运河6日再传停止通行，一艘意大利油轮发动机故障，卡在运河河道中央无法动弹。
苏伊士运河日前才因为长赐号阻塞6天，不料6日又有一艘意大利油轮Rumford在通过运河南部时，发生发动机故障失去动力，导致交通状况一度停摆，苏伊士运河管理局获报后，马上派出拖船前往抢救。
根据路透社报导，全球油轮追踪网站TankerTrackers及MarineTraffic表示，意大利油轮Rumford在苏伊士运河南部面临困境，由于发动机故障造成船只失去动力，卡在运河河道中央无法动弹。
苏伊士运河管理局（SCA）6日表示，意大利油轮Rumford发生故障后，运河拖船「专业地」处理了事故，将Rumford移动至安全水域，待船员修复故障之后，油轮目前已经恢复动力。
SCA主席拉比（Osama
Rabie）表示，海上交通没有受到影响，Rumford问题持续了约10分钟就顺利解决。此外，SCA目前正在考虑扩大河道南部，避免搁浅问题再度发生。
